Competitive culture and toxicity mechanisms in esports - a survey of player opinions

My name is Wiktoria ZbieƄ and I am a sociology student at the University of Silesia in Katowice. This survey is designed to collect data for my bachelor's thesis, which focuses on the mechanisms of anomie and toxicity in League of Legends and Valorant. The study is addressed to adult players of these games.

The study is completely anonymous. The results will be processed and presented only in the form of collective statistical summaries. I am interested in your authentic perspective as a player, particularly your subjective experiences regarding emotions and stressful situations during gameplay.

Participation is voluntary, and you have the right to withdraw at any stage of the survey without providing a reason. Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes. By voluntarily submitting the completed form, you consent to participate in the study and allow your answers to be used for scientific purposes.

Thank you in advance for your participation.
